GUEST COMMENTS

The apartments feature everything you need for a few days away, well fitted kitchens, TVs, DVD players, towels, games, DVD library, Barbecues and comfortable furnishings. Wireless broadband is available. It is a pleasure to wake up to the sound of birds and the crashing of waves. You don’t need a car to get to Austinmer Beach House because it’s a short stroll from Austinmer station – a 75 minute trip from Central.

Dining options include Bistro 345 at Thirroul and Fireworks Café but we were too relaxed to sample any preferring long walks and barbecues.

Take a stroll or ride the bike path from Austinmer to Wollongong past beaches - Go bushwalking through semi tropical rainforest to the tope of the Illawarra escarpment and take in the magical views.

Dear Sue

Thanks so much for a wonderful stay. Austinmer has been a great discovery. I’ll definitely be coming back, hopefully for more than a couple of days, and will be raving to all my friends about the apartment, your warm welcome and hospitality, and the picturesque surrounds. Please let me know when the new apartments are completed.

Best wishes,
Lesley
